GACC-CO Volunteer Day at Civic Center Park

Civic Center SPARKLES activates the community to sustain the park through regular volunteer-powered upkeep. Volunteers provide paramount support to Denver Parks & Recreation’s horticulture and maintenance crews to keep Civic Center—the heart of Denver—clean, green, and beautiful. GACC’s dedicated volunteer day is July 29, 2025, from 8:30am-11:30am and you’ll be able to make a huge impact on the park while connecting. 

SPARKLES’ activities include weeding and planting flower beds, painting, organizing storage areas, litter control, and general park clean-up in Civic Center Park. All tools necessary to perform activities are provided (bags, gloves, tools) and Civic Center Conservancy provides t-shirts, snacks, water, and parking vouchers.
